Yep, yep, yep. Uh-uh! I agree.

Firefox was going to be named Phoenix, then Firebird (presumably rising from the ashes of Netscape Navigator). I liked Navigator. Only switched to IE with this computer so it would do auto updates. I turned off the auto-update years ago. I learned it's better to wait a week or two before adding MS's latest fix to see if it affected other people adversely.

I doubt I will ever go back. Firefox is kinda like Google -- lean, mean and efficient. I probably have thousands of favorites/bookmarks all neatly sorted. They transferred without any problem. I did have to adjust the order within folders, but laws a'mighty, I can open the bookmark management to FULL screen. I can see both name and url. Can't do that with IE.

Also IE is a royal pain when I move a favorite. It inevitably pops into the wrong folder. Grrrrrr...... Firefox clicks into place, no slipping and sliding.

ActiveX is missing. Do I care? Nah! I know most good web designers plan for ALL browsers. If you are not using IE the web site will automagically switch to the necessary program to allow their presentation.

I like it! I probably won't add the email program, but I am thinking about the calendar if I can make it interactive with Joe.

Bye-bye, I.E.,
Bye-bye, I.E.,
Bye-bye, I.E...
It's great to see you go!
